Red Gone Wild: Thee Album

''Red Gone Wild: Thee Album'' is the sixth studio album by rapper Redman.〔http://www.amazon.com/Red-Gone-Wild-Thee-Album/dp/B0009VJWP4/〕 It was released on March 27, 2007 via Def Jam Recordings.
==Background==
It is his sixth solo effort to date and his first since 2001's ''Malpractice''. ''Red Gone Wild'' features production from Erick Sermon, Timbaland, Scott Storch, Pete Rock, Rockwilder, DJ Clark Kent, and many others. The album had been delayed numerous times by Def Jam and Redman himself, with early promotion dating back to Ghostface Killah's 2004 album, ''The Pretty Toney Album''. Red stated that he didn't want his album to get under promoted like recent albums from Method Man, Ghostface, and The Roots, which explained the long delay for the release of ''Red Gone Wild''. He also stated that he was waiting for the right time to drop it in hip hop's fast changing landscape.〔(MySpaceTV Videos: Redman Blog Check on myspace.com/hiphop by A Place For Hip Hop )〕
The first single was "Put It Down" (produced by Timbaland) with additional vocals by DJ Kool.
